Build a kids profile around your child’s age, then fine-tune what appears. Smart suggestions combine category names, provider adult flags, keywords and available age-rating data to give you a useful starting point.

Bundled reference metadata adds age information beyond the labels supplied by your provider. Review suggested categories, hide individual titles and decide how newly added content should be handled—all from the setup screen.

• Choose an age band and how strict the suggestions should be.
• Search for a channel, film, series or category to adjust its visibility.
• Add your own blocked keywords and enable the Smart English filter.

Parental review matters. Ratings can be missing or incorrect, and live-TV category filtering does not classify every programme. Suggestions help you choose; they are not a guarantee that all content is suitable.

A large provider library can mix many languages and naming conventions. Smart English filtering looks at language tags, country clues, names and writing systems to help reduce foreign-language categories.

The classifier distinguishes provider language labels from a film’s original language, helping avoid treating an English dub as foreign simply because the film was made elsewhere. Clean English titles use bundled reference metadata to replace cluttered provider names where a match is available.

This uses names and metadata, not an analysis of the audio. Uncertain categories may remain, and an English result does not guarantee an English audio track.

Enable Require VPN to connect for a profile to make WWW Player check for an active VPN before allowing its connections. When no VPN is detected, the app gates login, syncing and playback.

A visible VPN status makes the current connection easier to check. The built-in help also explains how app protection relates to the stronger, device-wide controls offered by Android and VPN clients.

This is an app-level guard, not a device-wide firewall or an absolute leak-prevention guarantee. Use your VPN client’s or operating system’s kill switch for device-wide protection. VPN service is supplied separately.

Send playback to another device running WWW Player on the same local network. A phone, TV or desktop can become the receiving screen, with an approval step before the incoming session starts.

On Android, Google Cast support adds compatible Chromecast and Google TV receivers. Your sending device remains part of the session, so keep it connected and available while watching.

Windows supports WWW Player network casting but does not provide the Google Cast sender. Device discovery, network isolation and receiver compatibility can affect availability.

Your profiles, catalogue, settings and watch progress live on your device. There is no WWW Player account to create and no WWW Player cloud-sync service required to use the app.

Profile backup gives you a file you control when you want to move your setup. Treat that file as private: it can contain provider credentials. Local storage also means another device does not automatically inherit your watch history.

The app connects to your provider and can also contact connectivity checks, IP lookup and speed-test services, configured guide sources, artwork hosts and casting services. These external connections are separate from the data stored locally on your device.

Give each setup a name and avatar, then switch from a simple profile picker. Separate kids profiles let you offer a selected view of a parent’s library without turning every viewing session into a settings exercise.

PIN protection can guard access to a parent profile. Use it alongside reviewed child-profile restrictions so the unrestricted library is not just one easy click away.

Browse live channels with programme information from your provider’s guide. Live preview lets you check a channel before opening it full screen, keeping discovery close to the programme list.

Choose the provider’s guide or configure your own XML/XML.GZ source. If guide times are offset, adjust them in settings instead of mentally translating the schedule.

Programme listings and their accuracy depend on the guide source. Channels and subscriptions are not included with WWW Player.

Adjust live and on-demand buffering separately. A steadier buffer can help a variable connection, while a smaller live buffer can keep you closer to the action. Stream format, tune timeout and decoder choices give you practical ways to handle different providers and devices.

Choose Fit, Zoom or Fill and remember the framing for individual titles. Playback speed and skip intervals put everyday controls within reach.

Quality caps work only when a stream offers multiple qualities. Decoder, display and playback features vary by platform and hardware.

Set preferred audio and subtitle languages so the player can select matching tracks when a title offers them. Choose a subtitle size and whether captions should appear by default.

Surround passthrough and stereo/PCM choices help match your audio setup. Adjust the starting volume, choose whether channel volume is remembered and set how early the next-episode prompt appears.

Language preferences select available tracks; they do not translate a programme or add missing audio or subtitles. Audio-format support depends on your device and receiver.

Move straight into Live TV, Movies, Series or Search from the home screen. A consistent interface brings the provider’s catalogue together while separate profiles keep the experience personal.

Search your local catalogue, return to recent viewing and use favourites to keep useful choices nearby. Syncing refreshes provider content, while visible connection and sync status help you understand the current state of the player.
